@leftatmars you’d be surprised at how wel duct tape holds. Since they put duct tape over the staples, the bag should hold verry well. Duct tape is an extremely durable material
Hey I have that Marilyn Monroe Shirt! lol I like this idea but I still wear my shirt so I dont want to chop it up but I might just do this with other shirts. Thanks for posting this
okay that dam bag gone rip when you put some in it!
With all of the stuff that I put in my purse those flimsy staples would never hold.
@Elaina613 it held for a while, a long while actually. I needed a quick fix to a dress I was needing hemmed. I gave the dress to my cousin and she laughed so hard when she seen my bs hemming job, haha. She hemmed it with needle and thread.
@terradawn72
really?howd it turn out?
WHY the duct tape? Have they not heard of Threadbanger?
This is silly….and yes you would spend more buying the tape even if you went to the dollar store as what iSKATEforFUN wrote!
@BubbleOfJelly re: @kule1person
at least i hope she does! Its a pretty embarrassing thing to confess to on tv if its true!
not every body hav duct tape
i dont hav heheh
this coming from someone who used to make duck tape creations try to stay away from colored duck tape if your on a budget its usually about 5 or 6 dollars a roll plus the occasional mistake and if the duck tape sticks to its self its safer to buy silver duck tape although not as pretty
There was really no need to duct tape the whole thing… watch GiannyL’s tutorial
yea those staples wont hold. and eventually the tape will ware off.
@kule1person I think she does. She didn’t see the whole face at first.
i used a stapler to “hem” my dress, haha
@tinkabell419 The duct tape helps keep the staples in place.
Even if they don’t staple
@Ilovevulpix17 TRUEEE!!!!
@HarvestMoonZooTycoo Haha. That’s what happened to me.
The bag came out all shitty. lmfao
Here’s a helpful tip:
You don’t really need to tape the whole bag.
Just the parts that you staple.
When you cover duct tape for the whole bag…It makes it all stiff.
Just let it hang loose. [It looks better that way]
@kule1person
lol no kidding
“there’s a picture of…i don’t know who that is” lol what??? there are people of all ages who know who Marilyn Monroe is!
i am gonna try this!!! it is sooooo cute!!!
@silverbracelet6 haha duct tape comes in like 12 colors i was like NOT IT DOES NOT COME IN HUNDRED DIFFERENT SHADES!
i love this idea!
wow
